

This might just be voodoo but it helped for me. Restart your computer before you start playing (and maybe every so often afterwards). In my experience the game has about a 50% chance of hanging on the title cards or on loading a save if you don't. Launch the game from it's folder rather than using the Steam Shortcut. There are some ways to help though, a lot of it will come down to personal experience but for me (having recently finished the game on PC) Yeah, even with DPfix you still gotta burn the incense and make sacrifices on the proper star cycles to get through it.
